The new project...

I notice that I often seek a new project out when I know I have to do something big and I feel low grade anxiety about the impending work. Retrospecting, I can remember this happen in college. I always picked up a new video game during the finals.

More often than not, it's a skill up level and/or a skill upgrade before the sense of impending doom of the larger project takes over and I focus on it. I also have an unlimited amount of projects that are half done as a result ;)

I just picked up something new. I have something due this Thursday that's making me anxious.
