Huawei's HarmonyOS is now also a desktop OS and should nvidia consider purchasing intel?

We are in a unique period where not only are desktop chips and laptops back at the frontier of computing, there are also new operating systems.

China's Huawei Technologies on Thursday unveiled its first artificial intelligence-powered PC, saying it will be equipped with Intel's latest chipset and run on its in-house operating system.

The main reason is because LLMs and Generative AI is finally taxing the existing computing paradigm, especially mobile in a big way. I, for one, am very excited about what Qualcomm could achieve with their X-Elite. I sincerely hope they are competitive with the M-series and one can wishfully think if they might even dethrone them.

Intel seems to be about the only one floundering at this point. I am not saying it should happen. However, I wonder if nVidia might be interested in purchasing Intel for its foundry...
