A tall glass of liquid in hell...

Apple unveiled Liquid Glass - their new design style at WWDC '25 today. It's a stark contrast to the Material 3 Expressive announcement from Google at I/O '25, even if glass is a very expressive material 😛

This is going to be an interesting set of choices by visual designers especially for other large platforms. Would you adopt one of these to fit-in or do you go your own direction?

Finally, will Apple have the capability to convince you to be on their platform while adhering to their new designs? Would they even allow you to keep the old design? So many interesting questions. The only constant is change.
