🔗 Apple's winding down in-house efforts to develop µ-LED displays

MicroLED displays were supposed to bring together the benefits of OLEDs for its contrast ratio while improving the brightness compared to OLEDs.

Maybe the improvements in quantum dot / blue LED improvements in the latest gen OLEDs are a stronger / cheaper path to better displays in the future. However, I take this report from Bloomberg, combined with the Titan project news as a sign that Apple's in cost-cutting mode.

This is not inherently a bad thing. However, if Vision Pro is the primary bet from Apple for future growth, its stock is about to take a hit given the attack on services from all markets.
